Georgian diplomats to visit Kezerashvili in custody
Representatives of the Georgian embassy to France will visit former defense minister Davit Kezerashvili in custody today. Diplomatic mission says it is too yearly to speak about the date and the details of the extradition of former official. Kezerashvili was arrested in Nice, France, on October 14th as a result of cooperation between Tbilisi and Paris bureaus of Interpol. Georgian officials define he was wanted but not under the red circuit. Kezerashvili`s case was discussed by Paris court yesterday and he was sent to custody for 40 days until the details of extradition are agreed between Georgian and French parties. Davit Kezerashvili is accused by Georgian prosecutor`s office for various crimes, including misuse of authority and taking large amount of bribe. Kezerashvili`s attorney denies the allegations, saying they are absurd and politically motivated. Georgian side is already working on documents necessary for the extradition of former authority. The documents will be sent to the French Ministry of Justice soon.

Georgian parliament has adopted a statement regarding the situation in Ukraine with 68 votes against zero, as the opposition was not attending the vote in the session hall on Monday. Opposition disapproved the draft statement presented by the majority.
Georgia-EU council will meet in Brussels today. The 14th meeting of the council will be attended by the European Commission, Stefan Fule. The parties will discuss Georgia-EU relations, reforms carried out by Georgian government for the development of democracy and human rights.
