Prime Minister meets with newspaper and radio editors
Prime Minister of Georgia held meeting with the editors of Georgian newspapers and radio stations. The press conference took place at the Expo-Georgia exhibition center. Bidzina Ivanishvili spoke about the meaning of the upcoming presidential elections and pledged to provide conduct of yet unseen elections in Georgia.
Prime Minister said the ruling coalition had nominated a very good candidate - Giorgi Margvelashvili, who had all features necessary for a president.
`These elections are very significant for us, because a year has passed after the election of our government and we can equalize these elections with referendum. Along with electing the president, my government and I will get an evaluation of a kind of referendum after a year of our work,` Prime Minister said.
Prime Minister said the government was effective to maximum and did its maximum considering the current reality.
Bidzina Ivanishvili said he would recommend the GD candidate Giorgi Margvelashvili not to take part in elections if the second run-off would become necessary.
