It is the tenth day of nation-wide protests against the rejection on EU association deal in Kiev, Ukraine. In fact, the country is facing a political crisis as some MPs from the ruling party have announced their defection. Meanwhile, the streets of the capital are blocked by protestors, as well as the buildings of the government`s office and the national bank. President`s administration office is currently surrounded by special task units. The government plans to deploy troops to the central part of the capital to avoid violence.
The opposition plans to demand impeachment of the president and the government.
It has been reported that protestors from three other cities have joined the demonstration in Kiev.
Locals of the village of Ghurta of Khulo district of Adjara Region are expected to hold a large-scale protest rally. They are urging government to investigate the incident which took place in the village on March 8, 2014.

President of Georgia paid tribute to the memory of Georgian national hero, Zhiuli Shartava on his 70th anniversary. Giorgi Margvelashvili announced at the memorial today that by commemorating Zhiuli Shartava, he was also paying tribute to all, who fell in the tragedy of Abkhazia.
Today the first National Hero of independent Georgia – Zhiuli Shartava would become 70 years old. Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili together with Defence Minister Irakli Alasania, other members of Georgian Government and MPs paid a tribute to the memory of Zhiuli Shartava at Saburtalo Pantheon.
