Parliament committees to work in Kutaisi despite bad weather

09.12.13 17:27

The meetings of the parliamentary committees will be held in Kutaisi despite the restrictions on roads and bad weather conditions, due to which the lawmakers and the parliament`s speaker were discussing the possibility of holding sittings in Tbilisi. Davit Usupashvili defined that all necessary documents required for discussing and adopting various legislative acts are held in parliament Kutaisi, while the deadline for taking decisions is very short, therefore, the lawmakers will have to arrive in Kutaisi somehow and continue to work.
`We have discussed the situation - as you know the weather forecast is not so optimistic, but we`ll have to get there somehow, though I don`t know when we`ll get back. The regulations and legislation is very strict in this case as we have to adopt the budget of the next year. In addition, the house of justice, where we usually assemble while being in Tbilisi, is under repair works currently, so the MPs will have to arrive in Kutaisi and work,` Davit Usupashvili said.
