Nuland gives bread and cakes to protestors in Kiev
US Assistance Secretary of State Victoria Nuland has expressed his support to the protestors in Maidan Square in Kiev today. After her arrival to the Ukraine`s capital yesterday, Victoria Nuland expressed her hope following the negotiations with the authorities and the opposition that there would be no more violence against the demonstration.
However, the developments this morning made the senior US official to meet with the crowd. She has been spotted in Independence Square, where she was handing out buns and cookies to Ukrainian protesters.
Locals of the village of Ghurta of Khulo district of Adjara Region are expected to hold a large-scale protest rally. They are urging government to investigate the incident which took place in the village on March 8, 2014.
