Former convict Goderdze Jolokhava, who was asserting that he testified against former defense minister Bacho Akhalaia under pressure from the justice minister of justice Tea Tsulukiani and former chief prosecutor Archil Kblashvili, has changed his testimony once again. In the interview with media organization Obiektivi, Jolokhava announced that his primary testimony, in which he was telling the details of prisoners` torture in prison, was changed as a result of pressure and violence by the relatives and friends of Bacho Akhalaia. He says that Akhalaia`s companions threatened him with assassinations of his child and nephews.
Jolokhava has changed the testimony for the third time. The wife of Akhalaia and his lawyer say they will file a lawsuit against Jolokhava by all means.
