In 2013 the government of Georgia will refuse high class vehicles within the moratorium proposed by the Prime Minister of Georgia. Irakli Gharibashvili voiced this decision at the session of the government today. According to the Prime Minister, the ministries have been instructed to monitor the car park in their ownership and sell off the high class vehicles, which are not of particular need for these offices and the aftercare require serious funds. The funds obtained by the sell off should be spent on the development of each structure, including the growth of qualification of the staff. Prime Minister`s initiative also refers to the darkening of the vehicle glasses. Irakli Gharibashvili thinks that the limit of the glass darkening scales of vehicles should be reduced.
Locals of the village of Ghurta of Khulo district of Adjara Region are expected to hold a large-scale protest rally. They are urging government to investigate the incident which took place in the village on March 8, 2014.

President of Georgia paid tribute to the memory of Georgian national hero, Zhiuli Shartava on his 70th anniversary. Giorgi Margvelashvili announced at the memorial today that by commemorating Zhiuli Shartava, he was also paying tribute to all, who fell in the tragedy of Abkhazia.
