Rustavi2 director general may be interrogated again
The director general of the Rustavi2 TV Company expects that he will be interrogated by the prosecutor`s office again on the fact of the release of the secret audio recordings of the telephone conversations of politicians. The recordings were aired at the Different Accents show broadcast on Rustavi2. Nika Gvaramia says the goal of the release of these recordings was not a desire to unveil the content of politicians` conversations, but to convince the society that the faulty practice of surveillance is still being used by the authorities not only against Rustavi2, but against the senior officials as well. Nika Gvaramia was answering the questions of the investigation at the prosecutor`s office regarding the testimony given to the investigation by the former chief of the security department of Rustavi2.
