The chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Georgia, Tamar Zhvania says the mistakes found in the summarizing documents of the vote count in some of Tbilisi`s districts was a mechanical gap and in final documents everything will be corrected. There were serious mistakes in the total line of the protocols, where Nika Melia, the candidate of Tbilisi mayor from the United National Movement, had got 118 votes, but in the document it was marked with 18. The similar mistakes were made in other documents as well, where the number of total amount of votes was reduced with 100 in every case.
The mistakes were discovered and reported by the International Transparency - Georgia. The UNM has already appealed this fact at the CEC, which in its turn pledges to accept any remarks and complaints if they turn out true.
