Tbilisi celebrates 33rd Tbilisoba festival

Georgia`s capital is marking Tbilisoba celebration today. At the 33rd celebration tens of events and festivities, including squeezing grapes for wine, are planned for today`s celebration.
Especially for the day, a winepress with capacity of 5 tons of grapes was installed on the area of 60 square meters on the Meidan Square in Old Tbilisi district.
Tbilisi mayor with chairman and members of the city hall were first who took place in squeezing grapes in the winepress.
The state folk ensemble of the city of Kutaisi performed a concert in the Meidan square.
An auto show was held on Metekhi Bridge today. Private companies exhibited tens of old cars on the bridge. Some of them are for sale.
A fruit festival is also going on in the Bambis Rigi Street.
Paintings by foreign artists are exhibited in the Tunnel exhibition space, while Georgian traditional handicraft products can be found in the District of Baths.
At the same time falconers have assembled at the baths of Tbilisi to perform their show.
