Tbilisi City Court has postponed the hearing on the case of Akhmed Chataev, a Chechen resident, who was arrested in connection of the special anti-terror operation conducted by Georgian armed forces in the Lapankuri village of the Lopota Gorge, Kakheti Region. The special operation was conducted near the Dagestan section of the Georgia-Russia border. Over ten people were killed in it. Akhmed Chataev was arrested with the charges of keeping and carrying explosive devices illegally. The defense of the Chechen national demanded time for learning the evidence presented by the prosecutor. Akhmed Chataev was also attending the hearing today.
