Estonian Foreign Minister visits Georgia

Foreign Minister of Estonia Urmas Paet pays official visit to Georgia. The Senior Diplomat arrived in Tbilisi this morning and held meeting with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze. The meeting was continued in an enlarged session.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Estonia have signed a readmission treaty for illegal residents of EU and Georgia. The two ministers also held a joint press conference, where the Estonian Minister reaffirmed that by the Vilnius Summit in 2013, the negotiations on the visa free regime, EU associate membership and free-trade relations would be over.
Urmas Paet also touched the upcoming parliamentary elections in Georgia. He said the fair and transparent elections would be yet another test of Georgian democracy. He also called upon all political forces to recognize the results of the elections.
Estonian Foreign Minister will hold meetings with other senior authorities of Georgia. One of the major issues discussed at the meetings with Georgian authorities will be the visa free relations between Georgia and the European Union.
