First stage of rehabilitation of Svaneti museum complete
First stage of the rehabilitation process of teh museum in Georgia`s mountainous region Svaneti has completed. Within the project, 6 exhibition halls of contemporary standards, a contemporary exhibition space, a new lab, a depository and working rooms have been constructed in the museum.
At the moment, a monitoring process for proper climate conditions is underway in teh museum during 24 hours. After the monitoring process is over, all the collections will return back to the refurbished museum building.
Georgian President along with representatives of various art fields opened the museum today. Mikheil Saakashvili also addressed the people assembled in teh center of Mestia.
Nine persons have been arrested within the investigation launched after finding the scandalous videos of human torture and sexual abuse. The videos were along weapons and drugs in a secret store in Samegrelo last week.

In the interview with a Georgian newspaper Kvela Siakhle, Ramzan Kadiyev spoke about the details of the offer. Mikael Kadiyev was arrested for preparing a terror attack in Georgia and afterwards was charged with illegal keeping of arms.
