NGO Mothers` Committee condemns violence in prisons and demands punishment of people involved in the prisoners` torture and abuse in Georgian prisons. Ketevan Adamia, founder of the committee made a special statement today and called on the society to keep quiet and express their protest at the polling stations on the day of elections. `Mothers Committee condemns the facts of sadism which was shown to the society these days. We have been complaining about this for past two years, but no adequate reaction was followed. We call on the society to ignore provocations and express their position and protest at the polling stations on October 1,` Ketevan Adamia said.
