Georgian delegation joins UN General Assembly session
UN General Assembly opens today in New York. Georgian governmental delegation led by Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze is already in New York. Deputy Minister Nino Kalandadze reported the details of the delegation`s visit to the United States at the briefing today. She said, Grigol Vashadze would hold about 40 meetings with foreign colleagues in the frames of the assembly, in addition, for the first time, the session of the GUAM-US commission will be held. The GUAM foreign ministers will also held 18th plenary session in New York. As for the speech of the president of Georgia, it is scheduled for tomorrow.
Nine persons have been arrested within the investigation launched after finding the scandalous videos of human torture and sexual abuse. The videos were along weapons and drugs in a secret store in Samegrelo last week.

In the interview with a Georgian newspaper Kvela Siakhle, Ramzan Kadiyev spoke about the details of the offer. Mikael Kadiyev was arrested for preparing a terror attack in Georgia and afterwards was charged with illegal keeping of arms.
