President comments on GD candidate`s activities

President Saakashvili has commented on the video footage of police officers` bribing released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs today, in which one of the MP candidate from Georgian Dream Coalition, Aleko Tabatadze is also mentioned.
President recollected the activities of former police chief of Tbilisi, saying he was controlling drug business in the capital years ago. Saakashvili said he personally dismissed Tabatadze twice from the system of police.
`Now I learn that this man has returned, moreover, is in the party list, collecting malpractice all this period,` Saakashvili said.
President also recollected former police chief of Batumi, nicknamed Rambo, who he said was famous for his brutality and criminal past.
`Today, he emerges on behalf of a political party and condemns violence. These elements of past, who tortured people, have returned and these are the facts, which we cannot ignore. These are the people, who cannot be in politics,` President said.
