Fire extinguished at Liberty Bank head office

Fire broke out today at the central office of the Liberty Bank on N74 Chavchavadze Avenue damaging the left side of the 15-storey building completely.
Fire brigades managed to localize the fire and then extinguish it.
The staff of the bank do not know what might cause the fire; they said it spread on all storeys of the building in a few minutes.
The employees of the bank were evacuated from the building in a few minutes.
According to preliminary reports, the fire was caused by an electric welding working on the 5th floor.
Investigation is underway to ascertain reasons of the fire.
Head of the bank said the office is expected to continue working in few days. The damage inflicted on the bank by the fire is uncertain yet.
The situation in Chavchavadze Avenue is quiet for now. Traffic movement has been resumed, however law enforcers still continue working at the scene.
