The signal-mandate MP candidates of the Georgian Dream coalition have gained the majority of votes in all eleven precincts, where the repeat polls were held on October 14, as the results of the October 1 parliamentary elections were nullified due to violations. Malkhaz Vakhtangishvili from Georgian Dream gained 397 votes, while the candidate of the United National Movement, Giorgi Tatishvili was left without a chance getting 32 votes at the N4 polling station of the Gori constituency. Valeri Gelashvili won the repeat polls with 93, 6% of votes, while Sergo Kitiashvili from the United National Movement got only 112 votes, which is about 3, 9%. Kitiashvili said his name was left in the ballots despite his decision to remove his candidacy from the repeat elections at nine polling stations in Khashuri. GD candidate from Sighnaghi, Gela Gelashvili has also collected 85, 97% of votes defeating Levan Bezhashvili of the United National Movement, who gained only 14,03% of votes. The precinct commission nullified ten ballots. The members of the coalition marked their victory in the repeat polls with fireworks last night.
