Director of the N16 prison of Rustavi has been dismissed after a few days` protest of inmates and their families. The statement published on the website Levan Aburjania has been deprived off his duties until the general inspection of the ministry completes the investigation of his activities. The statement says that the general inspection launched investigation of the activities of the prison director on the grounds of the information provided by inmates and their relatives and the minister, Sozar Subari took a decision from suspending his duties until the investigation is over. Inmates and their relatives accused Levan Aburjania of pressure and violence.
