Repeat polls will be held in three different precincts as the Central Election Commission has nullified the results of elections there due to the violations and irregularities revealed on October 1, 2012. The CEC has already ruled that the repeat elections will be held on October 14 in one precinct in Sighnaghi, one - in Gori and five - in Khashuri. The special session of the CEC was held yesterday to discuss the controversy about the vote count in these precincts. In Sighnaghi`s N5 Vakiri polling stations, the voters will vote only for single-mandate MP candidates - the vote will be decisive for Levan Bezhashvili from the United National Movement and Gela Gelashvili from the Georgian Dream coalition. The results of the elections in Gori and Khashuri have been also nullified; however, the CEC will set the date of repeat polls there later today.
