Javakhishvili said there are procedures determined in Georgian legislation, according to which the president of the NBG can be dismissed. He said the parliament should approve the impeachment of the NBG president with one third of votes and afterwards, the Supreme Court should rule on the issue.
Kadagidze says in such a situation, when the government has changed democratically in the country and when there are lots of evidences proving the criminal activities of the NBG, its president should resign, however, the aforementioned procedures will allow the new government to make it according to Georgian legislation.
