Kbilashvili unveils his plans as prosecutor general

Archil Kbilashvili from the Georgian Dream, which was nominated as the candidate of the prosecutor general of Georgia by the GD leader, Bidzina Ivanishvili, has emphasized the high-profile criminal cases, which will be re-investigated after he assumed the new office. Kbilashvili says the murders of Sandro Girgvliani, Buta Robakidze and the death of late prime minister Zurab Zhvania, are the cases around which the society and their families have many unanswered questions. Kbilashvili also said the case of Vladimer Bedukadze should be also investigated thoroughly. Bedukadze was the former employ of the Gldani prison, where the scandal of prisoners` abuse happened. Bedukadze shot the videos of the torture and released it on internet after having fled Georgia. Archil Kbilashvili has also spoken about the structural reforms of the prosecutor general`s office. He said the prosecutor`s office should no longer be a subordinate body of the ministry of justice and it should become an independent structure.
