President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili opened the new University of Arts of Batumi today. The university will operate in the rehabilitated building of Batumi hospital after being left without building for past three years. Rehabilitation works lasted two years. President visited the university together with the chairperson of the Adjara Supreme Council Levan Varshalomidze, whom he assigned to provide the university with necessary inventory and musical instruments. After viewing the new building of the University of Arts of Batumi, President Saakashvili talked with the students and the pedagogues.
