The Georgian Times weekly newspaper will re-emerge in Georgian media soon - the founder of the newspaper Malkhaz Gulashvili announced after being released from prison within the early release program of the new minister of the penitentiary. Gulashvili was discharged from prison late last night after serving one year of his term.
Relatives and friends met with the former inmate outside the N12 prison last night.
Gulashvili was arrested a year ago on Georgia-Azerbaijan border; earlier he was wanted by the police for an incident, which occurred in the studio of the TV company Caucasus and was afterwards charged with the attempt of crossing Georgia`s borders too.
