Majority to conduct audit of new parliament expenditures

30.10.12 10:38

The audit demanded by the parliamentary majority will make it clear if the legislative body of the government will return to the capital. The majority is counting the expenditures spent on the security of the parliament building in Kutaisi.
They said the construction of the building was not finished and its completion required several millions of GEL, which will affect state budget seriously. Therefore, the audit will decide which is more reasonable decision - to leave parliament in Kutaisi or to move it back to Tbilisi.
Parliamentary minority has already objected to the idea. They believe the legislative government should continue to work in Kutaisi.
