President comments on conflict in village Nigvziani

President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has made a statement regarding the conflict among the residents of the village of Nigvziani, Guria Region. Saakashvili calls upon the government of Georgia to look into the problem locally and apply to adequate measures for discharging the tension. President says the tensions, which was caused by the Muslim eco-migrants from Adjara and local population, who prevents Muslims from conducting rites there, seems to have been artificially provoked. He also says the law enforcers should do their best to prevent similar facts from taking place and maintain peace in the country.
