Construction of hotel complex starts in Black Sea resort Anaklia

The Georgian Economy Ministry has signed an agreement with an Indian company, which owns hotels in many countries, on construction of a new hotel complex in Georgia`s Black Sea resort of Anaklia.
The project has been designed by India`s leading architects.
The construction is expected to start in October 2012 and last until fall 2014. Mostly locals will be employed at the construction.
USD 10 million-investment will be put into the project, which plans construction of 54 hotel rooms, 98 cottages, among them 8 on Enguri River at Georgia`s breakaway region of Abkhazia.
The complex will also include a lagoon-type artificial lake and various pools, a unique spa center, restaurants, bars, night-clubs, a casino, tennis courts, children`s playgrounds. The new complex is expected to attract more visitors to the Black Sea resort.
