President slams slogans of some opposition parties
14.09.12 11:40
President Saakashvili has slammed several opposition parties for their pre-election campaigns. At the meeting with voters in Guria Region, Mikheil Saakashvili commented on the programs of the opponents, who say the communal services will be free. Saakashvili said this is impossible because such tariff policy will only worsen the quality of service.
`There are people who assert that everything will be free, but here is another problem that they do not focus on the second part of this reality - when they promise free electricity and gas, they do not add that free electricity and gas supply may be suspended. I wish it could be free, but we get gas and power because we pay, this is the reality. That`s why we`re offering 1000 GEL vouchers that you should not be disconnected from systems for a couple of GEL arrears, but we should pay for what we get,` Saakashvili said.
