Prime Minister of Georgia pays first official visit to Brazil. Nika Gilauri has held meetings with Brazilian vice president and foreign minister. Georgian and Brazilian authorities have already signed an agreement on enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries. Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia Eka Tkeshelashvili and Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota signed the document on Monday. Georgian governmental delegation will attend the Open Governance Partnership Summit in Brazil today, where Georgian Prime Minister will deliver a speech along with Brazilian President and the U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.
Georgia`s Black Sea resort of Kobuleti is getting prepared for the summer tourist season. The resort will soon have a refurbished park. Construction and rehabilitation of 6 objects simultaneously, including an artist`s house, an amphitheatre and tennis courts is underway in the park.

Georgia`s Shida Kartli Region has a new governor. Sulkhan Sibashvili has replaced Giorgi Tatishvili at the position. The new governor was introduced by the head of teh president`s administration at the regional administration in the town of Gori today.
