Georgian theatre attains unprecedented success at Globe to Globe
The Marjanishvili Theatre of Georgia has attuned unprecedented success at the World Shakespeare Festival - Globe to Globe in London. The Georgian theatre performed at the festival Shakespeare`s As You Like It directed by Levan Tsuladze.
It has been the first precedent that a play has been performed in the 600-seat Globe Theatre in the Georgian language without English translation.
The Globe to Globe festival has been considered the most significant event of the year. Over 600 actors from 37 countries are participating in it.
