Artifacts of VI-IV centuries BC have been discovered during the archaeological excavations in the village of Didnebi, Samegrelo Region.
The archaeological diggings began there a few weeks ago. Archaeologists discovered ceramic hand-made objects, jewelry made of bronze and iron, working and fighting tools. Experts say similar things were discovered in Italy a while ago.
The artifacts will be sent to Germany for laboratory analysis. The students and the lecturers of the Berlin`s Free University are also involved in the excavation works.
