Davit Rusishvili to be sent to 21-year imprisonment

Tbilisi City Court has adopted a rule on the case of Davit Rusishvili, the Georgian national, who is charged with premeditated murder of Zurab Tarkashvili, the 23 year-old man, who was killed on Rustaveli Avenue in October 2011.
Rusishvili will be sent to 21-year imprisonment.
The rule was adopted after the jury announced a verdict recognizing Rusishvili guilty after 5 hour-long discussion yesterday and today.
Davit Rusishvili was detained two days after the crime, while another murder suspect, Iveri Gogoberishvili was arrested in Ukraine on December 26, 2022.
