Saakashvili visits winter resort in mountainous Adjara Region

President Saakashvili visited Thursday Gomarduli tourist center in Georgia`s mountainous region of Adjara.
The resort has met the new winter season with refurbished infrastructure. 5 new cottage hotels, each capable to accommodate 100 guests, were constructed there. The hotels will offer all kinds of comfortable conditions to guests arriving in the region.
Gomarduli resort has received plenty of guests during the last two years. Several sports competitions take place there during one season.
New family-type cottages are also expected to be constructed in Gomarduli in the future. Number of funicular railways and ski traces is also expected to rise.
Prime Minister`s special representative for negotiations with Russia, Zurab Abashidze has left for the Prague to hold his second meeting with the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Gregory Karasin. The meeting is scheduled for March 1.
