Shota Rustaveli bas-relief unveiled in Riga, Latvia

President of Georgia along with the Latvian Culture Minister unveiled a bas-relief of Shota Rustaveli, the greatest poet of the 12th century in Riga today.
Mikheil Saakashvili said at the ceremony that a memorial to the greatest poet should be in all the countries, Georgia has diplomatic relations with.
"This is a very nice gesture from the Latvian government and society. Rustaveli is Georgia for us and as Georgian embassies are everywhere, Rustaveli should also be everywhere where Georgia is presented", he said.
The Georgian PM also said the process of restoring Ishkhani and Oshki on the territory of Turkey will be observed by Georgian experts. While the Georgian party promised Turkey to take care of Turkish monuments in Georgia.
Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili has paid one-day official visit to Turkey on February 14. During today`s visit PM Ivanishvili met with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Parliamentary Speaker Cemil Çiçek.
