Minister of Sustainable development and Economics of Georgia visited Kutaisi today, where she met with the members of the management group of the rehabilitation and reconstruction project of the Kopitnari airport. The meeting was held at the Kutaisi House of Government. The participants of the meeting were introduced with the implementation of the project and viewed the reconstruction works. Teh construction of the new airport is due to be over in 2012. The government hopes to attract the air-companies offering cheap services to passengers. The airport will take flights from and to Europe and Asia as well in the region. It will be equpped with modern navigation systems.
Prime Minister of Georgia met with Georgian businessmen today. Representatives of over 200 private companies were attending the discussion of the most topical problems in business sector today.
Russia`s chief sanitarian doctor, Genady Onishchenko has made yet another statement on the visit of his inspectors to Georgia. The visit was delayed due to the fact that the Georgian side sent documents of 12 more wine maker companies to the Russian side, which need to be considered.
The Georgian PM also said the process of restoring Ishkhani and Oshki on the territory of Turkey will be observed by Georgian experts. While the Georgian party promised Turkey to take care of Turkish monuments in Georgia.
Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili has paid one-day official visit to Turkey on February 14. During today`s visit PM Ivanishvili met with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Parliamentary Speaker Cemil Çiçek.

Sixty-nine Georgian wine and mineral water companies have sent required documents to Russia`s Chief Sanitarian Genady Onishchenko - the official website of the Rospotrebnadzor has reported.
New reduced tariff of natural gas will be enforced from spring 2013. The government reduces the tariff with 0,05 GEL and it will cost 0,46 GEL. The final decision on tariff reduction will be announced by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources next week.
