Minister of Sustainable development and Economics of Georgia visited Kutaisi today, where she met with the members of the management group of the rehabilitation and reconstruction project of the Kopitnari airport. The meeting was held at the Kutaisi House of Government. The participants of the meeting were introduced with the implementation of the project and viewed the reconstruction works. Teh construction of the new airport is due to be over in 2012. The government hopes to attract the air-companies offering cheap services to passengers. The airport will take flights from and to Europe and Asia as well in the region. It will be equpped with modern navigation systems.
Minister of Finance of Georgia summed up the economic parameters of the state budget in the first quarter of the year. Nodar Khaduri announced at today`s press conference that the incomes in the first three months of 2013 have exceeded the incomes of the same period in 2012 with GEL 63,500,000.
