State officials were detained for bribery on Thursday. Law enforcers detained Robizon Tavadze, director of the plant, licensed by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and Zurab Veruleishvili, the head of the local municipality of Samtredia district.
As reported, the detainees extorted cash in the amount of GEL 6000 from a certain entrepreneur for assisting him to register a land area.
Constitutional Security Department has also detained Irakli Gigineishvili, the employee of Registry and Privatization Regional Division of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
