Unique archaeological discovery made in Georgia`s Black Sea Region

Unique archaeological discovery has been made in 10 kilometers from pine forest in Georgia`s Black Sea Region Adjara, where ship remnants have been found.
According to the first examination, the remainings belong to the 2nd century B.C. A fisherman took the remnants out of the sea from the 120-meter depth.
The vessel`s details including a mast, a jar and an amphora have been found. Scientists are examining the details now. They have been exhibited in the Archaeological Museum of Batumi.
Reportedly, an international group if scientists will work on reconstruction of the vessel.
