Trump honoured Georgia`s presidential Award of Brilliance

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili with his family hosted American business mogul Donald Trump at the president`s administration in Tbilisi on Saturday. Mikheil Saakashvili told about his impressions about Mr. Trump to the guests assembled in the hall of the palace.

Later, Saakashvili honoured the American guest with the presidential Award of Excellence.

The mogul`s airliner landed at the Tbilisi International Airport at 12 a.m. on Saturday. Georgia`s Economy Minister Vera Kobalia met him in the airport

Later, Donald Trump met Tbilisi Mayor Gigi Ugulava. The mayor guided him around the historical districts of the city.

Georgia is the first country in East Europe, where Donald Trump has decided to make a USD 250-million investment. The businessperson is expected to fund construction of Trump Tower in Batumi. The project was signed by Donald Trump and the head of the Silk Road Group in New York in March 2011. President Saakashvili also attended the signing ceremony.
