Nokalakevi to be under management of European standards

Nokalakevi is the first monument of Georgia`s cultural heritage, which will be in the management of European standards. Norwegian experts in cooperation with Georgian colleagues will discuss the joint measures of protecting and developing oldest historic monument in the Samegrelo Region, Georgia, at the meeting, which will be held on the territory of the museum-protected area today. The meeting has been organized in the frames of the agreement signed by the cultural heritage monument agencies of Georgia and Norway signed three years ago.
President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili opened the new University of Arts of Batumi today. The university will operate in the rehabilitated building of Batumi hospital after being left without building for past three years. Rehabilitation works lasted two years.
