Prime Minister congratulates WW2 veterans on May 9

Veterans of the WW2 have assembled at the Victory Park in Tbilisi today to mark the 68th anniversary of the victory on fascism. Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili also went to park, laid wreaths on the grave of Unknown Soldier and congratulated veterans on the anniversary of the victory in the World War 2.

Experts exhume Chechens killed in Lapankuri operation

The corpses of the Chechens killed in the Lapankuri anti-terror operation last summer have been exhumed on Duisi cemetery this morning. The process was carried out by the experts of the Levan Samkharauli national bureau of expertise. Relatives and locals were also attending the process. 

Man arrested for premeditated murder attempt

A 26 year-old Vano A. has been arrested with the charges of the attempt of premeditated murder. According to the investigation, the incident occurred in Telavi four days ago. Vano A. inflicted grave injury in chest area to his co-villager Tengiz Ch. on the basis of conflict in Zuzumbo settlement 

GYLA calls for uprooting gaps in Lapankuri case investigation

Georgian Young Lawyers` Association calls on the investigation structures to uproot the gaps in the investigation case of the Lapankuri anti-terror operation. The NGO released a special statement after the chief prosecutor`s office launched re-investigation of the case due to numerous unanswered questions in the society.
