Foreign Minister discussed cooperation with Dutch counterpart

Foreign Minister of Georgia Grigol Vashadze discussed cooperation issues at the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Netherlands Uri Rozenthal. The two ministers also discussed the issues of the NATO Chicago summit. Georgian diplomat said it was very important to agree all significant details of the Summit Agenda with the partner countries.
The two ministers also spoke about the prospects of various joint economic projects and bilateral relations in various spheres, including culture.
Minister of Defence of Georgia Irakli Alasania visited IV Infantry Brigade in Vaziani today. The three soldiers, who were killed in a terror exlposion in Afghanistan on Monday, served in 42nd Battalion of this Brigade. The military held a moment of silence in respect of the memory of Georgian heroes.
National flag of Georgia was lowered at Georgia`s office of the Council of Europe on the day, when the nation mourns the death of three Georgian soldiers in Afghanistan. Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze attended the ceremony.
