The office of the former deputy mayor of Tbilisi Shota Khizanishvili was searched up by detectives late last night. The law enforcers took away personal computer of the former authority, who is under pre-trial detention currently. Prosecutors interrogated him for nine hours yesterday before sending him to pre-trial detention isolator. Other authorities were attending the search. They say the law enforcers presented no order on search or any other document, though they didn`t prevent from carrying out the search. Mayor of the capital Gigi Ugulava says he will stand as the guarantor to his deputy, even though the investigation against is tied with Khizanishvili`s activities during his work at the interior ministry. Law enforcers have also searched his apartment on Paliashvili Street last night. Family members were attending the process.
