Archaeologic explorations underway in Khovlegora

Scientists have discovered remains of ancient temples and fortresses on Khovlegora, an area in the village of Khovle, Kaspi district. They say the discovery dates back to the II-I centuries BC.
The ancient tiles were found on the upper part of the hill, where as scientists presume, was the dwellings of higher social class and temples.
Scientists assert that Khovlegora is the historic monument of world significance. Major excavations will begin here next year. The details of the new discovery will be introduced to journalists later today.
