Chairperson of the parliament of Georgia Davit Bakradze arrived in Kakheti Region to view the areas damaged by the last weekend`s disaster. Davit Bakradze saw the districts, where the infrastructure has been damaged most of all. The rain and flood has destructed roads and isolated one of the districts of the Kolagi village from t he rest of the region. Parliament speaker said the government would allocate funds to assist the disaster-stuck regions and restore the damaged infrastructure. Currently, road department crews are working to clean up roads and reconnect the isolated villages to the rest of the region.
A branch of the Privat Bank situated on Guramishvili Avenue, Tbilisi, has been assaulted by one robber this morning. Patrol police appeared at the place of the robbery in time preventing the man from taking away the cash from the bank office

Heavy rain since the morning has caused floods in the East Regions of Georgia - the situation is also grave in the capital, where the streets have been flooded. According to the Emergencies Service chief, the flood has damaged a bridge in the village of Gldanula, which is in the vicinities of Tbilisi.
