Iranian businessman killed in Tbilisi

An Iranian citizen was killed in Tbilisi today. The murder occurred in the office of the Union of Iranian Businessmen situated on N21 Kostava Street, near the grand concert hall of Tbilisi. The man`s body was found in the office; according to preliminary examination, the man died of injuries inflicted with a cold steel.

Companions of Maksud Bedustan say he lived in Tbilisi for past 11 years and ran his business, assisting other Iranians to begin business in Georgia.

The man is about 45 years old. Eyewitnesses say they noticed a man of middle height, who entered the office.

The motive of the murder is yet unknown. Police is inspecting the place of murder. The investigation is in progress. Reportedly, the suspect has been already identified.
