New cross has been erected upon the dome of the Bagrati Temple, which was reconstructed under the project of a Georgian architect, Vano Gremelashvili. Along with hundreds of worshippers, President Saakashvili attended the ceremony. 
Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili attended the opening ceremony of Rabat fortress in Akhaltsikhe on Thursday. Mikheil Saakashvili walked along the fortress, viewed the rehabilitated objects and talked with the crowd who watched the opening ceremony.
House Museum of primitivist Georgian painter Niko Pirosmani will be completely rehabilitated - the tourist infrastructure will be also arranged on the territory of the museum. The rehabilitation began in the memorial house of the painter too.
