Kids News was broadcast by Rustavi 2 from 2009 till 2011. The programe was the Georgian version of the popular American kids news program Teen Kids News. The program features kids to kids format: children's syndicated TV news show is aired on the adults' TV. It was produced by Mr. Albert Primo, who has been working on the project in Georgia together with Rustavi 2 team.
More than 2500 young applicants took place in the casting arranged by Rustavi 2 in February 2009. According to the format of the project 20 children have been elected – anchors (11-13 years old), reporters (8-13 years old) and reserve group.
